Ogni viaggio è sempre motivo di gioia. Sempre.
Se possibile chiedo ai viaggiatori di ritorno di portarmi a casa un giornale, una rivista del Paese visitato, tanto le monetine in banca non le vogliono e per me è fonte di ispirazione leggere di un altro Paese in lingua originale. Così sono stata felicissima quando la mia mami di rientro da New York mi ha fatto trovare, oltre una borsa galattica di Calvin Klein (la mia prima Calvin Klein originale) Vogue e Vanity Fair made in USA. Il nostro Vogue è straordinario ma vi assicuro che Vogue US diretto da Anna Wintour è eccezionale. Perchè ? Perché sì, foto, abiti, articoli, testimonial, pubblicità, editoriali, giornalisti. Il meglio è solo su Vogue.

On her young success: “It feels like a lifetime ago. Am I happy I’m not 20 anymore? Yeah. Nineteen? I don’t want to be that age. It’s incredibly confusing.”
On how everything’s going right now: “Yeah, everything’s been really great right now. It’s been a good time. I’ve had peace. Relative peace. I just want to work on things that are really hard, and when I’m not working on things that are really hard, I want to hang out with people I like to be with, and that’s it.
On performing on Broadway: “I know it sounds supercorny, but it was a dream come true. That sort of pressure of having to deliver—I just find it thrilling.”
On her split from ex-husband Ryan Reynolds: ““It was horrible. Of course it’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out. This was something I never thought I would be doing. And there’s no way to navigate it. Nobody can give you the right answer. It’s never anything you want to hear. It’s a very lonely thing. It’s like the loneliest thing you’ll ever do, in some way.”
